Sureshot BL-415 -- Camo

Posting for customer Travis. Travis built this from a Sureshot Inc. premium offset kit and added his own custom camo paint job. This BL-415 has a 60" barrel, and he built his own custom take down assembly.

thats what i was thinking Thunderlord nice design,but the shiny aluminium
sorta deffeats the purpose of camo, other than that good work,

only other ponder i have is the price,there pretty expensive weapons,how much would u estimate this thing cost to build in relashion to the sale price

The price is pretty exorbitant but you get what you pay for. You get a custom made easy propane meter that is one of the most aesthetically pleasing and easy to use meters I've seen, a custom made military looking handle, a clean looking combustion cannon, true breech load barrel, muzzle brake (I think), machined parts for pump, machined parts for attaching handle, machined parts for holding the mapp/propane tank, a fan, all the wiring is done for you if you buy it already made and I think thats it.. correct me if im wrong.. when you add it up it does seem like it could cost some money for the people making it... so I find it to be within a reasonable price range...

Someone with experience in spudguns could easily make something that looks and performes the same or maybe even better than a gun like this one... for maybe 400 dollars or so... I'm talking like a 6 inch sch 80 chamber, fan, camlocks, spark stirp, hidden ignition, stun gun ignition, meter mapp or propane , etc... so I guess it can be done if you have enough money and knowledge to make it.

In my opinion I wouldn't buy pre-made or finished cannons off of the internet maybe a few spare parts or a thing here and there, and of course materials that I can't find in the stores near me, but I think that buying cannons defeats the whole purpose of this hobby which is doing stuff yourself and learning from what you do... I dunn just my opinion

I went to a gun store for the first time in... ever? Anyway I found some of that aluminum bluing stuff at the gun store and almost bought it, but I mis-read the label as "Touch up scratched and marred areas only" It's quickly not only duh.

I might use it when I upgrade the *censored for contest*.

I was wondering about that. Why such a large chamber jager? I could see this being a very nice tactical mortar if mounted on a stand.

The kits are $600 and fully assembled version is $950. Usually you'll have to spend $50 in materials to get the project complete.

Profit? This seems to get brought up quite a bit... Honestly, I have never thought of this as a "get rich scheme". theBoom has it right... and, there are a sector of people that have the money for something with good performance, fully machined aesthetics and great reliability.

Not sure about that either. He may have some long and or larger diameter barrels he cam-locks on...

TL, Mike sent out quite a few for black anodizing. They were done up with bright dip so they are rather shiny. On the next batch, I would opt for a mat black, sand blasted black or powder coated satin black. We DO have the capability to powder coat, I don't know if they are offered on the USG website.

OOH maybe even ruberrized matte black on that note. Only problem is that rubberized pait doesnt last too long

Travis did a nice job with the paint and assembly but, I have to salute the designer and machinist. Clean simple lines yet, extremely elegant! A combination that's very hard to achieve.
