I've designed my first pneumatic spud gun using 3/4" BSP 316ss.

Does anyone know the pros and cons of 316ss, and what type of pressure it could withstand. (I've done a google search but couldn't find the info.)

how thick is the the metal if its like standard galvanized steal you get a bunnings, it will take at lest 1000psi

google it and found that Grade 316 has outstanding welding characteristics. Post and corrosion resistant properties

found this might help says 300-10000psi

Wow, thanks that definitely cleared things up. There's only two other things I need to figure out. Where to find a chamber? And if an air blow gun has enough flow to exhaust a piston valve.

Edit: these are ss fittings I'm talking about.

Edit: Can't link directly to it go to fittings, screwed pipe, stainless steel.
