Greetings to all, I would like to use this

http://www.amazon.com/HitLights-BATTERY ... 1_1&sr=8-1

to power this

http://www.amazon.com/Delta-Electronics ... +connector

Sorry for the long url's I just thought it might help to clarify what I'm trying to do.
Fan Size: 40 x 40 x 28mm, Rate Voltage: 12VDC, Operating Voltage: 4.5 - 13.8VDC, Input Current: 0.6A, Power: 7.2W
For this to work do I really need to do anything other than change the connector on the fan?

Yes that setup will work. You can replace the $25 battery with a $3 9V battery.

Those 9volt batteries are normally pretty weak, an alternative would be to buy a cheap AA battery holder, but I guess it depends on how long you intend to run the fan? Is it just to blow/suck out your combustion cannon?
