Re: Little help with my first prototype
Work in progress. Managed to make the stock (it took forever!) using two wooden board and a plywood board for reference, modeling and carving them for inletting the parts was quite hard with hand tools, huge respect for those who didn't use power tools and got pro results. Trigger ready, I had to us...

Re: Small semi automatic hybrid project
Updating of this project, in this case, the LB VI, (lansa bolillas 6). :) LB VI.JPG This prototype is the one that I recently built, which has several important simplifications with respect to the previous one, the first one. Shoots 5X, .25 caliber steel bbs. The loading in the chamber of the ammuni...

Semi-Automatic Airsoft Pistol
Finally my Semi-Auto Pistol project is finished to my liking. It runs on green gas (@12Bar) using a 2-stage trigger with a sliding hammer mechanism actuating the valve. It has NO BOLT, it is using a internal 11 shot magazine, that is sealed with the barrel. It has around 1.2J of muzzle energy and fe...

Re: Hybrid pumped weapon project
Speaking of this weapon, this is version "2". The number "1", it is valveless... it does not have any valve. I am trying to seal the chamber directly with the pellet in the barrel. The pellet is "prepared", it has a bit of spelling corrector to increase the seal, (it's perfect), and increase the fri...

Apple Cannons vs RC Plane
Here's a interesting video that popped up as suggested to watch. I think a group of us could make way more fun out of this but these guys did pretty good. Let the ideas flow and enjoy!

Re: the air cartridge we wanted
Interesting stuff but we all don't love exhaust valve piston designs. Relying on the launcher never to leak to prevent a misfire is not ideal.

Can't believe this site is still going
Over 10yrs ago i joined this site, back when i was younger and had an obsession with wanting to destroy stuff 🤣🤣i had completely forgotten about it. A bored youtube search for "spudguns" seen me spying a familiar name or two which brought the back memories of this site. And lo and behold its still h...

Re: Benjamin Model 30/30 CO2 Carbine Repeater "Hot Shot"
The system of this rifle is very creative. I like the idea because it comes out of the conceptual "box" and is repeated all the time. There is always a different way to do the same with its pros and cons for sure. Nice acquisition! :) Adapting it to pcp would improve it substantially, and it will in...

the air cartridge we wanted
Joerg's new toy. I fooled around with this cartridge design decades ago but gave up because it was long before 4500 psi handpumps were available. This sparked interest in it again, maybe with a 40mm size cartridge 8-) ... maybe rimless for better feeding in JSR's brain. https://www.youtube.com/watch...

Re: Can't believe this site is still going
Am present. I made a new cannon in 2019 I think it was, and it was quite a project. The site is very low in activity, the glory days of spudding seems to have been in the 90's and early 2000's. Spudding will always have a special place in my heart and I have two special cannons that I will either le...

Great video testing spud gun failure/safety (ThebackyardScientist)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqstP9ics2A Great video. He tested hydro testing to failure with PVC and it has enough POP to hurt someone for sure. Not sure if there was air in the line behind the water, but an interesting result. Lots of cool PVC failure testing specifically with spud guns in mind.

Bolt action pcp rifle with a magazine
The gun kinda looks like a gun from fallout, it works pretty good and shoots 6mm steel bbs at 700 fps!
