OK, I'll bite. Why doesn't "Mitch" post for himself?

Is the cannon you have this on currently, done?

I'll guess... Mitch asked Necrosis about Necrosis' project, and Necrosis posted the information that Mitch was asking for.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Looking very good! :) Nice job on the threads too.

Why did you decide to place the spring externally?(Or is that not a spring retainer on the valve stem?)

Very nice, I have always liked custom hammer valves. I have a design floating around my file drawer with a design for a 'reversed' hammer valve that is part of the bolt, rather than the breech.
Completed projects:
CA1 SMSS Basic Inline
CA3 PDAB Airburst Cannon

Current Project: Bolt action rifle (25x140mm + 1in shot)

Nice. Will this be used to pilot a gun?
Could do semi-auto if you used a modded QEV.

It is a spring retainer, it will be adjustable using a threaded connection, so it also kind of acts as a regulator ish device.

This is just a test piece, stainless steel comming up today or tommorow. : )

Yes it'd be used to pilot a pilot gun for my railgun. *confuzzlewuzzle*

I thought you were going to make a gun like the condor but oh no that wouldn't have high enough volocities for you!
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.
