Is there a way to modify a sprinkler valve without changing out the selenoid valve. Like increasing the size of the hole or something? I have the "honking" issue at first I thought it was because the valve is like 7 years old but now I know that, that isn't the issue. So if there is i would appreciate a link, if not some advice would be nice.
Thanks,
DTR

Here, this mite help you. I think s valves honk because there is some left over air in the chamber that is enough to vibrate the diaphram but not enough to reseal it. Are you getting good shots? If that link doesn't help you do a spud wiki search on it.
