i want to make a pretty powerful pneumatic and i want to make a valve because i hate using ball valves and i need some designs to show me how to make a good valve capable of holding 140psi or more cause i want to make whatever i shoot go really really fast this is my current setup of a gun it is pretty ghetto but all the parts were in my house so i built it here is the link to it http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/my-new- ... t9167.html so give me some ideas please

Piston Valves
If you think those are over your head, then look at modding a sprinkler valve
I personally would start out with the sprinkler, because they're easier than pistons.

If you want to run the gun at 140 psi and this is your first time building a valve,go for a modified sprinkler. Once you get your feet wet on that then look into a coaxial and later a piston valve. If you screw up on the piston valve and pressurize it to 140 psi. there is a pretty good chance you'll have a back cap fly off(kaboom!).Start off with a modified sprinkler and work yourself up.
Nothing is better than starting off right and having all your digits so you can build the more advanced stuff.

just start with a coaxial, they are VERY simple. if you can build a ball valve pneumtic, you can build a coaxial.
my only advice is that you have a very good bumper. also, if you cant find a piston and dont have a lathe, mold it with hot glue or epoxy.
ps- a piston valve that is built into a tee is just a very small coaxial.
