What about urethane.... tough enough for suspension bushings on cars/trucks and prolly could act as it's own sealing face, one piece one meterial pistons would be great...

Heres my new pcp that im building, im getting the barrel next week and the grub screws to hold the valve in, all the parts were machined in a Hurco...

Yeah, for smaller diameter things, a decent drill press can make for a ghetto lathe. :) Not as precise, but better than nothing.

The rubber washer could be replaced by a o-ring... but I feel this will have more chances not to be ripped-off by the air flow...
